Fin's new Mullet

I have to say I am feeling a twinge of regret for a few things now, namely;
-leaving hair scissors within reach of a two year old. -ignoring the naughty little pitter-patter of footsteps I heard during nap time today.
-and for all the times I complained about Fin's "whispy... straggly... unruly hair".
As, now all there is to say is:

Butchered.

When she came down the stairs smiling, scissors in hand, I felt like I had been gut checked.

I have to say I was surprised at my own reaction I always thought I'd think it was more funny than anything, take a roll of film and call it good. But no, my reaction was more of a involuntarily gasp, in which she doubled over in hysterics at!

I think she thought I was playing with her, so of course, I needed to straighten her out. After all, Hair, is no laughing matter.

After giving that naughty 2 year old a hefty lecture about who is and is NOT allowed to use the scissors, she turned to me, with her little lip quivering and said,
"Mommy? You be nice to me??" Her plea was so disarming, it even made her freshly cut Mullet seem darling.

It will grow - I remember when Becky cut her hair. I did a gasp when I saw it and she burst into tears. She had cut a big chunk out of the front. My sister took her to a beauty parlor to try and fix her up. What a cute hairdo she ended up with.

That is an excellent mullet. Maybe she wants to get ready for hockey season? j.k.! She's always adorable. This is a second timer, you'll be a pro at creating new and exciting hair-do's out of children's cutting experiments. I love the pictures you took of her! She is so cute!

Hahah, that is a rite of passage at that age! Good thing that she's at about the only age where the "CHULLET" (child-mullet) can be pulled off. I love the side view...are those "steps"? She's cooler than I gave her credit for!

This has got to be the best self-inflicted mullett I've ever seen. You're taking it like a champ!

the first front view I'm thinking..mm, just the bangs. isn't that classic some time through their life? thne I scroll to the next picture and just gasped!!! one day you will definately laugh at this, but it definately won't be until she grows it out! at least she is still so darling and doesn't need her hair to do that!

Best. Mullet. EVER!!! I am laughing so hard right now!! This is hysterical. One time Shannon cut her hair when she was 3 and mom made her wear a sign that said " I cut my own hair"

I know I shouldn't be saying this but I'M KILLING MYSELF LAUGHING!!!!!
This hair doesn't compare to the hack job Meg did to Coco when they were small.

This made me laugh so hard!! I love the mullet! Henry has one too, but it is from not cutting his hair. Fin is cute even with a mullet!
