Baby Massage

Keshia and Nick got me an in-home baby massage gift certificate for Christmas. The instructor brings everything you need, oils, fancy mats, baby bathtubs, soothing music and even her own fake baby model that looks freakishly real in a creepy baby sort of way.

During the lower abdomen massage, I took Fins diaper off. I guess she couldn't resist the opportunity to mark her territory on the pretty yoga mat, because that exactly what she did.

Keshia
and little Nixon came for the class too. I was surprised how much the two babies loved the fetal position bath afterwards. They looked so darling with their rolls all squished up like that.

The massage techniques are quite simple and she gave us our own instruction manuals, so I feel like it would be easy to teach it if anyone's interested.

Very cute!! I am shocked how much Nixon and Livi look alike... crazy! Now I just need another baby that I could do this on :)

Oh I want to try this with Imogen. I wish you could teach me! Is fin crawling yet? Imogen lately has only wanted to be held and hates it when I put her on her tummy. She can scoot and has but won't every time. She just whines when she is on her tummy.

Did they really like the bathtubs? I have heard so many great things about them, but they just look so silly!

Hey Steph. THanks for commenting. No Imogen is NOT crawling yet. I read the other day that she has until 10 months to be considered average. She is close, and scoots. I wouldn't be surprised if she skips it and goes straight for walking. She is good at holding on to things and holding herself up. But I am also glad she is not crawling because it would be a NIGHTMARE with the whole move and trying to get settled in. Finley is soooo cute. I love the picture of her in the bucket. Have fun child proofing your house but it probably already is since you have two other rug-rats!! Love and miss you!
