Should I be worried?

This morning when I asked Bridge what color shirt he wanted, "green or red", he said, "pink" pointing to his sister's on the other side of the rack. This wouldn't be so worrisome if he hadn't already thrown a tantrum earlier in the morning to put on my "gauk-up" (make-up) and tried to wear a bow in his hair later this afternoon. Yesterday was the third time he proudly came out in my mascara, and poor Ky has to fight him to wear her purple princess gloves daily.

I know it's "healthy" for boys to play with dolls, and practice nurturing, and I'm really proud that he's learning his colors, but does pink have to be his favorite?

Poor guy he's surrounded by 2 of the most girlish girls to walk the plant, and here I am making fun him. He's such a cutie!!

I just have to tell you - even though Marcus is surrounded by boys and only one mother his favorite color was pink for almost a year! I even encouraged it because it got such a rise out of the adults. I say, let them explore their world!

He just wants to be like you! It's flattering go with it! I doubt it's much about the feminimity (sp) but more about emulating those he looks up to. And my what a 'guak-up" applicationthat it Bridge!

Oh my goodness that is so funny! I love Bridge. I don't think you have to worry unless he still likes it as a teenager! Your party in bed sounds like so much fun, I can't wait to have a couple more kids so we can party in bed as one big happy fam.

Update: Today he brought me Ky's mermaid dress and said, "mom, help please" over and over. I didn't know what to say so I just giggled, and distracted him with something else. Oh, geeezze...
